I have had a passion for woodworking all of my life. I was pursuing a math and computer degree at Harvey Mudd College when I read Stewart Coffin's The Puzzling World Of Polyhedral Dissections and found inspiration to follow a different path in life. About a year later I invested in a small workshop and began making some of Stewart's rhombododecahedral puzzle designs. That was one year ago. I am 22 years old now and puzzle making is my only job. In the next few years I hope to take Coffin's work further, writing more about the underlying principles of his puzzles, as well as woodworking techniques for making them. I am also interested in writing computer software for modeling, designing, solving, and analyzing puzzles with non-rectilinear geometry. This will probably be a long term project.
