Unable to return to work after he suffered a back injury while on assignment with a detective agency, Rick began bending wire into small sculptures as a hobby. His puzzles are used by physical therapists and teachers and have proven highly useful in teaching abstract thinking. Rick's puzzles were discovered by puzzle collector Edward Hordern and his work is on permanent display in several museums around the world. All of his wire puzzles are crafted from heavy-duty chromed steel ranging in size from 3/16th inch to 3/8th inch diameter.
