Hectix is the plastic version of Hexsticks and is otherwise identical. Seven bars have two notches, three bars have three notches and two bars have one notch. Stewart documents three ways to solve the puzzle. A couple of people have contacted me and claimed to have found more. Stewart says baloney!
 
Licensed to 3M in 1970. About 100,000 were made. Copies have appeared all over the planet. Patent Number 3721448. Number 25 in his numbering system. Hexsticks is number 25A.
 
Hexsticks was independently discovered by Bill Cutler around 1965.
