Announcing the 2017 Competition
The Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition was established in 2001 to promote and recognize innovative new designs of mechanical puzzles. The seventeeth annual competition begins this year, with judging and awards at IPP37 (August 2017). See the full details using the following links.
The 2016 Competition Results
- 60 puzzles entered; the 2016 Competition Entries page includes images, descriptions, and purchasing information.
- Judging at IPP36 in Kyoto, Japan, August 4-7, 2016.
- The Puzzlers' Award is selected by IPP attendees; all other prizes selected by Judging Committee.
